Blue Crescent Wooden Boats officially opened its doors for business in 2006, but owner-builder Pete Thompson has been restoring and building boats for more than 15 years. 
   A graduate of the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding, Pete’s life in wooden boats started with passing interest in a classic Lyman runabout and has grown into a drive for building purpose-driven boats for passionate boaters like you. 
   The shop is a family-run enterprise, with additional help from occasional “guest boat builders” who visit the Lake Mills, Wis., shop from around the country. Click here to learn more about recent and current projects.
